GTA V next-gen version will offer 4K texture resolution and 60 FPS on the new generation of gaming consoles.

The unbeaten title of Rockstar Games is preparing to launch on the new generation of Xbox and PlayStation consoles. We learned that the world’s second-highest-grossing game would come to the next generation of consoles during the reveal livestreams. A recent post states that the new version of the game will also offer 4K and 60 FPS.

The information belongs to a post from a German website that focuses on PS gaming. The description below the post says that GTA V PlayStation 5 will come with crisp 4K texture and will also run at 60 FPS stable.

We should note that these details are for the PS5 version of Grand Theft Auto V. Because the website usually shares PlayStation blogs, there is not any info concerning the Xbox Series X version of the game. Though it is safe to say that Xbox Series X will probably offer the same performance if the details are true.

Yet, we are almost sure that the two ports of GTA V will have the same features in their arsenal. That’s why the game is being updated to a whole new version after all.

GTA V Next-Gen Release Date

With that said, there have been rumors stating that the title will come with 4K resolution and run at 30 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Although many other next-gen games do run at these settings, we believe that GTA V is old enough to run at 60 frames-per-second while also preserving 4K resolution.

We do not have any info concerning the features of the new version. We know that it will be an expanded and upgraded edition though.

After launching on Xbox 360 and Xbox One over the last decade, GTA V has managed to stand the test of time and will land on Xbox Series X|S on November 11, 2021.
